Gregorio Paltrinieri, born September 5, 1994, is an exceptional Italian swimmer from Carpi, Italy. His parents, Lorraine and Luca Paltrinieri, have always encouraged his passion for swimming. As a child, Gregorio displayed immense talent and dedication, quickly rising through the ranks of competitive swimming.

International Accolades

Paltrinieri's international success began in 2011, when he won gold in the 400-meter freestyle at the European Junior Championships. Since then, he has accumulated an impressive collection of medals, including four Olympic medals (two gold, one silver, and one bronze) and eight World Championships (six gold, two silver). Notably, he holds the current world record in the 1500-meter freestyle.
